Host: Elaine Jacobs
Designed for elementary grades, it aims to
highlight the cultural heritage of the Virgin Islands and the Caribbean . The show revolves around a storyteller whose long row house opens into a big yard. She calls out to the yard children and tells stories of long ago and various cultural customs
in an educational and fun way. She usually invites an expert to discuss their art or specialty as well
as hand games for kids to play. This 30 minute
show will air bi-weekly during the school year.
